Who can join the travel club?
Our trips are designed for queer travelers, with a specific focus on queer women, trans, non-binary, and Black & Global Majority groups as there are few travel services catering to these communities. We also run mixed LGBTQ+ trips to bring everyone together throughout the year. Not sure if it’s for you? Drop us an email.

What is the typical age range of the group?
Age ranges vary depending on the trip. While each group is different, the average age is usually 35+. Travelers under 35 are welcome to join if the group is a good fit for them.

Do i have to share a room?
No, single occupancy and private rooms are available on most of our trips at no extra cost, so you can enjoy your own space and travel in comfort.

Are trips LGBTQ+ only?
Our trips centre queer experiences, with a focus on queer women, trans, non-binary, and Black & Global Majority travelers. We also run mixed LGBTQ+ group trips and allies are welcome when they respect and support the space or feel aligned. Feel free to drop us an email if you’re unsure. Are trips LGBTQ+ only?

Can a friend or family member join with me?
Yes, family or friends who want to share the experience are welcome providing the respect and follow our community guidelines on trips.

Can I join if I’ve never travelled with a group before?
Absolutely. Many of our travellers are joining their first group trip. Our hosts and trip managers make sure everyone feels comfortable, included and supported from the moment they arrive.
Group travel can actually make exploring new places easier and more enjoyable, especially when travelling with people who share similar values and experiences.

Is Queer Travel Club safe for solo travelers?
Yes. Many people who travel with us join as solo travelers. Whether it’s your first group trip or you’re an experienced traveller, you’ll find it easy to make friends, share experiences and explore the destination together.

What makes Queer Travel Club different from other travel companies?
Queer Travel Club is queer-led and community-focused. Our trips centre LGBTQ+ experiences, local culture and connections rather than just sightseeing.
We work with local guides, community organisations and ethical partners to ensure our trips support local communities rather than exploit them.

Do I need to be out to join a Queer Travel Club trip?
No. Everyone’s journey is different and we respect that. Queer Travel Club aims to create an affirming space where people can be themselves at their own pace.

Are Queer Travel Club trips safe for LGBTQ+ travelers?
Safety is a key part of how we design our trips. We carefully choose destinations, accommodations and local partners that respect and support LGBTQ+ travellers.
We also provide guidance and context around local cultures so travellers feel informed and supported throughout the experience.

What types of trips does Queer Travel Club offer?
Our trips combine culture, adventure, community and relaxation. Experiences may include:

Are the trips suitable for different ages?
Yes. Our travellers range from their 30s to 50s and beyond. What brings people together is a shared interest in community, travel and unique experiences we provide.

What happens after I book a trip?
After booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email and a couple a questions we'll need to get to know you better. You'll also recieve the trip itinerary, travel guidance and preparation tips before the trip.
You’ll also be invited to connect with other travellers before the trip.

Do you organise trips around Pride events?
Yes. Some of our trips are timed around major global Pride celebrations, allowing travelers to experience LGBTQ+ culture and community in incredible destinations around the world.
